Honestly speaking, the real Licht probably wouldn't have gone that far. He was holding his wife, Tetia and she was human. I also don't think that Patry should've assumed that it was Tetia's brother who attacked their village, simply because both Tetia's bro and Licht really wanted peace between humans and elves.

The reincarnated elves in this episode can use the vessel's magic,but earlier Patry had to get his own grimoire since he couldn't use the vessel's? Or were they(the elves) reincarnated into people with magic similar to theirs?Anyways,if the elves just take the vessel's magic and beef it up a bunch , Yuno finna be a PROBLEM .

Patri was the exception because he hadn’t gotten a grimore so he reincarnated without his magic manifesting into a attribute
So yes he had two due to his special situation but all the others had a grimore so it only makes sense that their souls would reside with those who had similar mana frequencies
